Our Story
Ocean-Bear began as a small workshop in Melbourne's industrial heartland, founded by a team of experienced structural steel fabricators who saw an opportunity to bring higher standards to the industry.
What started as a three-person operation has grown into a full-service steel fabrication facility employing over 35 skilled tradespeople. Our expansion has been driven by a simple philosophy: deliver what we promise, when we promise it, at the quality our clients expect.
Today, we operate from a modern 4,500 square metre facility in Dandenong South, equipped with advanced CNC machinery, automated welding systems, and comprehensive quality control processes that allow us to handle projects of any scale.

Our Capabilities
Our facility houses equipment for every stage of steel fabrication, from initial cutting through to surface treatment and final assembly.
CNC plasma and oxy-cutting tables handle material up to 150mm thick. Our press brakes and plate rolls shape steel to precise specifications. Multiple welding stations accommodate MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes, with operators certified to AS/NZS 1554 standards.
In-house blasting and painting capabilities mean structures leave our facility ready for installation, reducing on-site preparation time and ensuring consistent finish quality.
